With the defeat of Amendment 4 in Florida, we have much to celebrate on
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS)!
Below we have provided an assortment of graphics for your church to use to promote this special day!
Every year on SOHLS, PCGC is honored to partner with churches in recognizing the sanctity of human life by kicking off our Change for Life! This is a baby bottle drive that offers everyone a unique opportunity to get involved in the
Pro-life/ Pro-love mission.

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SHOLS)
On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. (January 22, 1973, was the day the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand in all 50 states.) Churches around the United States use the day to celebrate God's gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protecting human life at every stage.
Churches continue to recognize a Sunday in January close to the anniversary of Roe v. Wade as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. 
Each January, we are proud to partner with pro-life churches and individuals to recognize the sanctity of human life.
